London Double Wedding Photography
Where to start talking about this wedding. The location seems as good a place as any. Central London wedding photography at the Dickens Inn at St Katherine’s Dock in the middle of London. I could talk about those September ‘Battle of Britain’ skies. Or the stunning views over Tower bridge and heading into London during the sunset. Or it being the first day of the Thames Festival and managing to ‘borrow’ the deck of a Chinese Junk for some of the photographs. Sometimes everything just comes together very nicely indeed, and this was one of those days.
More then anything else though I should talk about this fantastic double wedding. I’ve never been involved in photographing a double wedding before. And this one was an absolutely stunning one. I’ve already mentioned the central London location in St Katherine’s dock, but the level of attention paid to the details and the amount of preparation that had gone into this one was out of this world.
[The cakes, place settings, butterflies and ever other detail was fantastic. And one of the tables had a camel in a teacup – which is just wonderfully random. Ok so that appealed to my more eclectic side. Look through the photos for it. And the rest of the details.
But I don’t want this post to turn into one that talks purely about details. Tower bridge and those September skies made for some fantastic wedding photographs and of course both brilliant couple and all their fantastic guests made for a lot of fun and bueaiful double London Wedding. Have a look through the photos and leave a comment telling me which is your favourite.
Many thanks to Brighton Wedding Photographer Emma Lucy for asking me to shoot for her for the day.
